Flights

Delays or Cancellations 

  • If your flight is delayed, and you miss a connection as a result, the airline is responsible for rebooking you. Visit the airline desk at the airport for assistance.
  • Avoid Vouchers: if you flight is canceled, do not accept a voucher or credit for future travel unless it is for immediate needs like food or hotel accommodations. The airline must rebook you on a new flight.

 

If the Airline Fails to Rebook You

  • Request a Partial Cancellation: If the airline cannot find a reasonable replacement flight, request to cancel only the affected portion of your trip (e.g., the outbound flight) rather than the entire itinerary.
  • Contact Denae for Assistance: If you are unable to rebook a flight, text Denae with The Offsite Co. at 336-480-7495. Provide you name and specify you're with Underdog. Share details of you flight issue. If you find alternative flights on your own, share details with Denae. 

 

Personal Rebooking and Reimbursement 

  • Personal Purchases: If your flight is canceled, and you need to purchase a new flight personally, you may do so and submit a reimbursement request. Ensure you keep all receipts and documentation for reimbursement processing.  

 

Getting to Crystal Springs

Hotels 

  • There are two hotels on property, Minerals Hotel and Grand Cascades Lodge
  • You will receive an email prior to the offsite regarding your hotel assignment  

 

Shuttles from Newark Airport (EWR)

If you are taking one of the shuttles from Newark Airport, it is a little over an hour drive

  • Flyers
    • When your flight arrives, you can expect to receive a text from the driver introducing themselves
    • After collecting you luggage, please look for a greeter holding an Underdog sign - they will guide you to your shuttle
    • To confirm your flight and shuttle information, please review here and reply all to this email if there are discrepancies 
  • Non-flyers
    • Please meet at your assigned terminal in Newark Airport (Arrivals) and look for a greeter holding an Underdog sign - they will guide you to your shuttle
    • To confirm your assigned shuttle, pickup time, and shuttle information, please review here and reply all to this email for any questions 
  • Drivers are aware of each passenger's hotel assignment and will be making a stop at Minerals Hotel and Grand Cascades Lodge, where you will register and check-in (details below)
  • If there are complications locating your shuttle driver, you may call a rideshare service and expense it after the offsite. However, please make sure to prioritize finding your arranged shuttle before considering this option

 

Driving & Parking 

Free parking is available at both hotels and no parking pass or decal is required

  • Minerals Hotel: 2 Chamonix Dr, Vernon Township, NJ 07462
    • There is a parking lot in front of the main entrance 
  • Grand Cascades Hotel: 3 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, NJ 07419
    • As you enter, there will be signage directing you to the parking garage

 

Other

  • You are also welcome to expense an Uber or Lyft ride directly to the resort if you are local to the area or if you're unable to catch one of our airport shuttles. Please note that shuttles will only be available from Newark Airport (EWR).

 

Registration

On Monday, July 29th, Camp Underdog registration will open from 9:00am - 7:00pm at both hotels. You will need to register and pick up your keys at the hotel you are assigned to. If you have not yet signed your waiver, you will need to do so at registration. Your hotel assignment will be provided prior to the offsite. 

  • Minerals Hotel: Across the Lobby Lounge near the stairs, before you get to the front desk
  • Grand Cascades Hotel: Right past the front desk
