We will be kicking off Tuesday's activities with our first-ever, Field Day! Everyone is strongly encouraged to participate. Below you will find a list of challenges you can expect to participate in, which are designed to be inclusive. We understand there may be exceptions needed for some activities or for participation in the field day itself, and that's okay.

 

What to Expect 

• Everyone will be split into teams at random and work together to think of a creative team name and team flag desgin
• Each team will compete against other teams
• Prizes for the top 3 teams are included!

 

Challenges

The exact activities may vary, but below is an idea of the types of challenges to expect 

• Nuclear Reactor - Teams will build their own device to safety transport the core from where they are scattered throughout the venue to the safety zone
• Navy Boat Races - Teams face off and simultaneously try to knock the cups off of the opposing team's table. Teams can play defense by blowing the cups back into position.
• Tipsy Waiter - This is a variation of dizzy bat! Watch your teammates run while trying not to spill any of their water. First team to fill their bucket wins!
• Tug O War - Typical tug-o-war; bonus points can be earned after the team tugs in 1v1 matches.
• Alien Invasion - Your team needs to work together to stop the aliens with the recycled plastic discs.
• The Gauntlet - Protect you chosen flag carrier while navigating The Gauntlet. Your team must get all the way through without your flag carrier being hit while all the other teams are lined up throwing *soft* balls trying to hit the flag carrier.
